A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is conducted with your Informed Consent to determine your suitability for employment, a position of trust or as required by legislation. A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check contains your Personal Information including any relevant Police Information about you according to the purpose of your Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, subject to relevant spent convictions/non-disclosure legislation and/or information release policies.
This is a process that involves all Australian police services.
In addition the Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check report contains a date of issue, all names you have ever been known by, your date of birth, and your primary residential address.
